Metome from Japan just released his latest EP “Phreatic Surface” via King Deluxe, a record label from Vancouver Canada. This hand-drawing animated video by Asami Ike is for the track “Paper Moon” from the EP.

Raffertie’s second EP, Mass Appeal is out on the Ninja Tune label, and it sets an experimental mood with jittery spacey textures, aggressive riffs and heavy kick drum. From the Wah Wah 45s label, Part Time Heroes returns with a much anticipated album Lightfalls. It is an emotional and inspiring piece of orchestral electronica with melancholic strings and soulful vocals.
Last week sadly marked an end of an era. After 13 years of providing musical journeys to his listeners, Gilles Peterson departed from his long-time home on BBC Radio 1. However, starting on Saturday April 7th, he will present a new show on Radio 6. Be sure not to miss his first show.
